2022: Forgiveness, Passion & Yield

This was my 2022 in three words.
I struggled and learned forgiveness, I pursued my passion with so much strength and zeal, and I yielded to the situations around me, God’s timing and will for my life.

Forgiveness is a powerful act that can bring about healing and reconciliation in relationships. It involves letting go of negative feelings and resentments towards someone who has hurt you, and instead choosing to offer them understanding and compassion. This can be difficult, especially when the hurt is deep and the pain feels overwhelming. However, forgiveness is often an important step in moving forward and finding peace.

Passion is a strong emotion or feeling that drives us to pursue our goals and interests with enthusiasm and dedication. It can be a powerful motivator and can help us to stay focused and motivated, even when faced with challenges or setbacks. Passion can also bring joy and meaning to our lives, as it allows us to engage in activities that we find fulfilling and rewarding.

Yielding is the act of giving way or conceding to someone or something else. This can involve yielding to another person's wishes or requests, or yielding to a situation or circumstance that cannot be changed. Yielding can be a difficult thing to do, especially when we feel strongly about something. However, it can also be a sign of strength and wisdom, as it allows us to recognize and accept when we are unable to control a situation.

So, how can we start incorporating forgiveness, passion, and yielding into our lives? Here are a few tips to get you started:

  1. Practice forgiveness - Let go of grudges and resentment towards people or situations that have caused you harm. It may take time, but try to find ways to move on and let go of negative emotions.
  2. Follow your passions - What are you passionate about? Take the time to explore your interests and pursue them with energy and enthusiasm.
  3. Learn to yield - This can be challenging for those of us who like to be in control, but try to let go and allow yourself to go with the flow of life. Trust the process and be open to new opportunities
Remember, forgiveness, passion, and yielding are not always easy, but they are essential qualities that can help us live more fulfilling and meaningful lives. Practice them daily, and you may find that they bring you greater peace, happiness, and purpose.

See you in 2023 🥂
