12 Things 2017 Taught Me

From getting used to the idea of being single to knowing the importance of having a close relationship with God to having to deal with a bad attitude that was caused by personal issues, I would say 2017 was a good year. I had the opportunity to work on myself mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally and health wise. While I am grateful for all of that, here are 12 things 2017 taught me:
  1. Patience is virtue.
  2. Stay away from those shitty friends who make you feel less of yourself. It will be worth it I promise you.
  3. Its okay to feel alone, embrace it and remember your purpose.
  4. Bad things happen to everybody, how you deal with the situation matters the most.
  5. You cannot convince someone to stay.
  6. That I needed God the most in my life and it was the best thing that happened to me.
  7. Procrastination is the first and worst step to failure.
  8. Pursue progress not perfection, nobody is perfect.
  9. Never ignore your health, be sensitive to every signs and symptoms in your body and take care of it.
  10. Being an inspiration to someone is a gift.
  11. A bad attitude can literally block so many things, blessings, love, success. Change it.
  12. Be focused, Be focused, Be focused.

Review: Virony Sanitary Pad

I used Virony for the first time yesterday and I ain't looking back. Few weeks ago, my friends told me about Virony pad which I was scared to get at first because of my fear of switching sanitary pads but the reviews and praises I got about it made me change my mind. Well, here I am too, dropping my praises about Virony.  Product Name: Virony Smart Lady Pad Company Promises Absorbs 60% faster Extended wings to prevent leak My Experiences  I love the feminine look and packaging, the fact that the pack can be reused as a makeup or storage bag makes me love it even more. Comes with 30 pieces in a pack (18 days, 7 nights and 5 pant liners) you will notice the difference in sizes.  It has a light and dry feel, no bulge or feels heavy when being worn and there is this minty feeling you experience down there ☻ It is perfect for heavy and light flows and does not leak or tear. My friends who experiences rashes with previous sanitary products swore that they did

Empty State Design - Meaning & Importance.

Empty State - Mobile Version Empty states are what users see when there is no information displayed on the mobile or web screen. In summary, these are screens with little or no content on them depending on the situation, and examples of the situations are: 404 errors  Empty email inboxes  Empty checkout cart  Connection issues  The user has only just signed up Getting no results when you make searches  There are other situations that can also be placed as empty states but the most important thing is for these pages to be as engaging as possible.  Empty states are very important in UX Design but are often overlooked by designers that find them as non-essential screens that do not need attention. Designing an empty state is very useful to user experience and adds great value to products and services.    Empty State - Web Version As a designer, creating empty states is a great opportunity to let the users know what is happening, why it’s happening, and what to do about it, this helps to d

Review: Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation

SHADE: 60 Caramel Getting the right foundation for my skin has always been a problem for me, it’s been either fake products which I talked about on this post  or the products don’t meet my needs. I hade to make an intense search online and found a video from a makeup blogger who mentioned that the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse was her favorite foundation for oily skin. I eventually got this foundation and here is a review of my experience using it.  The Company Information & Promises •  SPF 15 • Matte Perfect Foundation  • Light Weight Feel  My Experiences •  Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse is a light weight foundation with a light to medium coverage • It blends in easily easily and smoothly. • It gives a matte finish but lasted for only about 2-3 hours for me so I had to repowder throughout the day. • It had white undertones after I apply it and I had to buy the Mary Kay Timewise to blend with it whenever I use. • I couldn’t wear it on hot or sunny days
