Review: Classic Perfect Matifying Face Primer

I used to apply make up on my bare face which leaves my face cakey, annoying and i really had to do something about it, i spoke to my friend who advised me to get a face primer. I went to the nearest makeup store and got myself this classic matifying face primer since that was the only primer they had at the moment and boy! Did it do a hell of a job 😍. Stay with me while I give you a rundown of this product.

The Company Information and Promises
  • Long lasting matte look.
  • Leaves skin soft and velvety.
  • Contains antioxidants to keep skin young.
  • Developed to fight against oily, flaky, dryness, enlarged pores and fine lines.
  • Contains SPF15
  • Fragrance and paraben free.

How did I apply it?
I apply on my bare skin, round my face, mostly on my T-zone and cheeks since I have a combination skin and those areas tend to get oily.

My Experience

  1.  I love the look and packaging of the product, I hope they never change it.
  2. I love the silky/velvety and matte feeling which gives the face a smooth, moisturized area to work on and easy application of other products.
  3. My makeup lasted all day, the oil production on my T-zone and cheeks was minimal, i sweat a lot even with the use of handkerchief my makeup stayed in place and didn't get cakey at all.

Will I use this primer again? Yes! Again and again, I am recommending this for people with a combination skin and its very affordable too. I got mine for 1500 naira.

Have you tried it? Let me know what you think 😊

*This is NOT a sponsored post, product was bought with my money and post was solely my own honest opinion.

How To Make Carrot Oil

Carrot oil can be used for the skin or hair and getting a good one can be nerve-racking sometimes, it’s either expensive or you fear getting a fake one. I learned how to make my own carrot oil and the transformation was so beautiful; the use of carrot oil brightened my skin and made it really soft, the key is to apply it when your skin is still wet before applying your lotion 🌚 I have never gone back to buying from a store ever since. Keep reading as I walk you through how to make your own carrot oil. Supplies • Hand Grater  • Pot • Mesh Strainer or Cheese Cloth • Jar Carrot Oil Ingredient • Carrots • Essential or Carrier Oils of your choice (In my case I use Vitamin E Oil and Johnson’s Baby Oil)  Preparation   1. Wash carrots and peel the skin off. Grate carrots with the use of a hand grater. 2. Place the grated carrot in a pot and pour the oil of your choice to cover the carrot. 3. Review: L.A Girl Mattifying Liquid Foundation & Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation

I HAVE BEEN AWAY for soooo long and it was unintentional..... life happened but it's great to be writing again. So I'm going to do something different by reviewing 2 different foundations at a time; L.A. Girl mattifying foundation and maybelline new york fit me foundation. It has been a challenge for me to find a good foundation because of my super oily skin and most times I end up with either fake products or foundations that are not suitable for my skin type. I initially used a water based foundation which is actually not compatible with nigerian sun and in my desperate need to get another one and without research I bought the L.A Girl tube packaged foundation which the seller swore was matte and would be good on me 😩 Guys, after a month of usage, I did my research and finally got the maybelline fit me and I will be reviewing it too on this post. So leggo! L.A. Girl Mattifing Foundation  607 Company Promises 100% Natural Wear Waterproof Oil Control
