12 Things Every Woman Should Have In Her Bag

Phloxies Blog: Nigerian Lifestyle Blog

Hand bags are every woman's best friend, well, I in particular cannot move or go anywhere without a handbag or clutch bag, you would be surprised to find so many strange items in a lady's bag. Apart from a wallet, keys and cell phone, there are more items that should be carried around in the bags.

1. Sanitizers: every girl should have this item in her bag so as to reduce germs when come in contact with one.

2. Pads: well, most ladies should have these stuffed in a secret section of the bag when its about that time of the month, no one should be caught walking around in a stained dress.

3. Handkerchief: is a valuable item for those who sweat a lot or want to get rid of spilled drinks on clothes.

4. Wipes: this item can come in handy if you want to use the bathroom, be it at the work place or a public place, might also come in handy if you want a make up re_do.

5. Small Perfume: this should be kept in the bag at all times as it will always come in handy.

6. Make Up Bag: this little bag should be loaded with a mirror, compact powder, lip gloss, lipstick and eyeliner.

7. Pen and Notebook: you obviously need these to always keep notes, your battery might fail you when you need to use it make notes.

8. Comb/Brush: to tidy up hair this should come handy.

9. Hair Band: you wouldn't like your hair or braids covering your face and distracting you while you work.

10. Earphones : if you are a music lover like me then you will definitely move around with your earphone, no one like being bored.

11. Gum/Mints: bad breath can be a turn off if you haven't eaten for a long time, your breath might smell bad, so a pack of gum or tic tac is needed for fresh breath, also after a meal you wouldn't want your friends to know you just had fish.

12.  Moisturizer:  most times you find out your hands are dry or you notice ashy legs, well, that is where your moisturizer comes in.

I hope this article was helpful........ :) you can drop your contributions on what other items you feel should be carried about in the bag too..... thanx!

It's the first day of May and I want to say that I am really grateful about how good 2018 has been to me so far, being alive, my friends, the health of my family and I want to also use this opportunity to wish you all a very successful month full of accomplishments. 🍾

So y'all...... I got a new job with a popular radio station as a music editor and I'm really ecstatic. It's been a different experience, changing my environment, having the opportunity to meet new, smart people and celebrities, emphasis on "celebrities" this in particular has been wonderfuuuuul. 😎

It's one thing to get a job and its another to get a job you love! Me, I got both and everyday I am thankful to God for such grace and favour, it wasn't easy, I cried myself to sleep and went on my knees asking what I wasn't doing right and why my friends were getting jobs before me. Thank God it's over now and I look forward to making the most of this experience and milk every oppor…

Self Esteem and Learning to Love my Nose

There was little I loved about myself while growing up. I was 16 when I noticed I was very skinny, had a big nose and battling with bad acne and pimples. I was assured it was puberty hence the acne but I was worried about the nose; I hated it for a long time, it was big, flat and out of shape or so I thought. Back in secondary school I would pinch my nose for a long time, hopefully it would have a better shape. I had beautiful friends in school back then and I would spend most of my time pointing out what face feature I liked and wished I had.

During my university days, pouting was my saving grace. I would either pout or give a very big smile just to make my nose look smaller. I relied on people to give me a good validation about my looks and pictures which is really sad as I think about it now. I really feel sorry that we live in a world where there is a definition of a woman's beauty. For three years I have learnt to love my big nose, not because I was forced to or didn't h…
