How To Make Carrot Oil

Carrot oil can be used for the skin or hair and getting a good one can be nerve-racking sometimes, it’s either expensive or you fear getting a fake one. I learnt how to make my own carrot oil and the transformation was so beautiful; the use of carrot oil brightened my skin and made it really soft, the key is to apply it when your skin is still wet before applying your lotion 🌚 I have never gone back to buying from a store ever since. Keep reading as I walk you through how to make your own carrot oil.
Supplies • Hand Grater  • Pot • Mesh Strainer or Cheese Cloth • Jar

Review: Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation

Getting the right foundation for my skin has always been a problem for me, it’s been either fake products which I talked about on this post or the products don’t meet my needs. I hade to make an intense search online and found a video from a makeup blogger who mentioned that the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse was her favorite foundation for oily skin. I eventually got this foundation and here is a review of my experience using it.
The Company Information & Promises  SPF 15 • Matte Perfect Foundation  • Light Weight Feel
My Experiences  Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse is a light weight foundation with a light to medium coverage • It blends in easily easily and smoothly. • It gives a matte finish but lasted for only about 2-3 hours for me so I had to repowder throughout the day. • It had white undertones after I apply it and I had to buy the Mary Kay Timewise to blend with it whenever I use. • I couldn’t wear it on hot or sunny days.
In Conclusion: I would recommend this foundation for people…

2020, Life & Expectations

Have you ever planned something and it didn’t turn out the way you wanted it to?
How did you feel, what was your reaction like?
Throughout 2019 I didn’t even update my blog, before now I would beat myself up and get disappointed but as time went on I realized that these things happen, life happen and a lot of things get out of control, I’m human.
2019 was a good year overall and I am glad we have passed that phase.
How have you been? 2020 hasn’t been fun yes? This was not how we planned to live our life this year, full of panic, anxiety and fear. The world going through the same thing at the same time, it’s a mess but we stay hopeful & positive.
I can imagine how difficult it must have been for a lot of us, some of us lost families, jobs, businesses, investments during this pandemic and I pray for the strength for you to bear these losses. We had lots of expectations and now it’s all on standstill.

By the way what have you all been up to?

Review: L.A Girl Mattifying Liquid Foundation & Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation

I HAVE BEEN AWAY for soooo long and it was unintentional..... life happened but it's great to be writing again. So I'm going to do something different by reviewing 2 different foundations at a time; L.A. Girl mattifying foundation and maybelline new york fit me foundation.

It has been a challenge for me to find a good foundation because of my super oily skin and most times I end up with either fake products or foundations that are not suitable for my skin type. I initially used a water based foundation which is actually not compatible with nigerian sun and in my desperate need to get another one and without research I bought the L.A Girl tube packaged foundation which the seller swore was matte and would be good on me 😩 Guys, after a month of usage, I did my research and finally got the maybelline fit me and I will be reviewing it too on this post. So leggo!

A New Chapter Of My Life

It's the first day of May and I want to say that I am really grateful about how good 2018 has been to me so far, being alive, my friends, the health of my family and I want to also use this opportunity to wish you all a very successful month full of accomplishments. 🍾

So y'all...... I got a new job with a popular radio station as a music editor and I'm really ecstatic. It's been a different experience, changing my environment, having the opportunity to meet new, smart people and celebrities, emphasis on "celebrities" this in particular has been wonderfuuuuul. 😎

It's one thing to get a job and its another to get a job you love! Me, I got both and everyday I am thankful to God for such grace and favour, it wasn't easy, I cried myself to sleep and went on my knees asking what I wasn't doing right and why my friends were getting jobs before me. Thank God it's over now and I look forward to making the most of this experience and milk every oppor…
